John Pass
Varsity Head Coach
I played 3 years of Varsity soccer at Hopkins High School. After graduating in 2013, I began coaching in the Hopkins HS program and at Tonka United. I spent six years there before being named the u10-13 age group director at North Suburban Soccer Association. After spending a fall at Mounds Park Academy, I will now be starting my second year as MV Girls Head Coach. I will continue to coach club soccer at Fusion Soccer Club and continue to learn more about the sport I love. My purpose as a coach is to provide an inclusive environment that encourages learning and joy for all players.

Grace Kruger
Varsity Assistant Coach
This is my 5th year coaching at Mounds View High School. I graduated from MVHS in 2018, was on Varsity all four years, and was a captain for 2! I graduated from Bethel University in 2021 and am pursuing my Master of Education in School Counseling through Grand Canyon University. When I’m not coaching club or high school soccer, I spend time with my nieces and nephew, work out, or go on the lake with friends.

I grew up in Morocco and Spain which is where my love for the game began. I started playing soccer in elementary school, played for my club team in Spain, and played soccer at Crown College. I coached club soccer for 5 years at Waconia Soccer Club and 2 years at Waconia High School. I currently coach for NSSA and I am the NSSA Jr Academy director. I have a bachelor’s in Exercise Science, a minor in Coaching, and hold the USSF D Coaching License. I love soccer, Real Madrid, my wife, basketball, and seeing kids grow and develop as people and athletes.

Emily Martzke
C Team Coach
I grew up in Marshfield, Wisconsin and have lived and played soccer my entire life. Graduating from high school in 2014, I played PCYS premier (Portage County Youth Soccer) for 6 years (U12-U18).
I played three years of varsity soccer being named team captain my senior year. After high school I went on to play Dlll soccer at Northwestern – St. Paul, starting all four years and becoming captain my senior year.
The 2024 season begins my 7th year of coaching but with that comes lots of experience. I have been working with NSSA through junior academy (U5-U8), U10 and most recently three years with U17 girls. Continuing to grow my coaching profile, I was an assistant women’s soccer coach after graduating from Northwestern (3 seasons).
I describe myself as always working hard, continuing to learn in every life situation, and most importantly having fun.
